About Delivery Integration

EPOS360 provides three flexible selling methods designed to adapt to different operational speeds, cashier workflows, and menu types. Whether your cashiers rely on visual category navigation, handle dynamic variable-priced dishes, or use memorized quick-order codes for high-speed line busting, selecting the right selling method minimizes checkout friction and keeps your sales lines moving efficiently

Before you begin

  • Verify that your account permissions allow processing order sales and accessing the checkout screen.
  • Ensure all items and category grids are synced from your inventory back office.
  • To use Sell by Code, every item must have a pre-configured alphanumeric code saved in its properties (Item Details > Quick Order Code, e.g., SF1). Items without a designated code will not respond to quick-code lookup.must still be managed inside native platform apps (e.g., the GrabMerchant or ShopeeFood app).

Method 1: Sell by Item / Category

Best used when: Your menu is neatly organized into explicit categories and visual item cards (ideal for standard table service or quick-service cafes).

  1. Navigate to Checkout: Tap the Sell tab on the bottom navigation bar (or tap Checkout on the left side of the navigation bar) and ensure the top filter tab is set to Item.
  2. Select Category and Item: Select the specific item category (e.g., Noodles), then locate and tap the target item card in the grid (e.g., Dragon Beard Noodles).
  3. Configure Item Modifiers: If the selected item features modifiers, an overlay will slide up automatically. Adjust your options accordingly (e.g., tap the + button next to Chow Mien) and tap Add to Cart.
  4. Send Order or Proceed to Checkout: Review the order breakdown in the cart panel:
    • For Table / F&B Service: Tap Send to Kitchen. Once the order is routed, navigate to the Table section, select the assigned table, and tap Pay when ready.
    • For Direct Counter Service: Tap Pay directly at the bottom of the cart screen.
  5. Complete Transaction: Select the customer’s preferred payment method, complete the charge, and confirm receipt printing or digital issuance.

Method 2: Sell by Amount

Best used when: Selling dynamic or off-menu items that do not have fixed retail prices (such as Mixed Rice / Economy Rice, weighted goods, or custom buffet plates).

  1. Open the Digital Keypad: Tap the Sell tab on the bottom navigation bar and select the Amount tab from the top selection row to reveal the digital keypad interface.
  2. Key in Custom Value: Use the keypad matrix to enter the transaction value in Ringgit. For example, key in 2.50 to register RM 2.50.
  3. Add Operational Note (Optional): Tap the + Add Note button to type custom descriptive labels or operational details (e.g., “Custom Seafood Plate”) for future sales reports.
  4. Charge and Finalize: Tap Charge to add the custom amount to the bill, select the payment method, and complete the transaction.

Method 3: Sell by Code

Best used when: Operating high-volume, fast-paced environments where cashiers memorize quick codes for industrial-speed order entry.

  1. Switch to Code Filter: Tap the Sell tab on the bottom navigation bar and select the Code option filter at the top.
  2. Key in Alphanumeric Shortcut: Use the on-screen keypad grid to input the item’s mapped code (e.g., key in SF followed by 1 to pull up SF1 for Golden Crab). The system will instantly fetch the mapped product details.
  3. Add Item to Cart: Tap the blue + icon to add the fetched item to the cart. If prompted, select any active item variations or options and tap Add to Cart.
  4. Repeat for Additional Items: Repeat the keypad entry for subsequent items (e.g., enter code SF2 to dynamically append Golden-Tempered Jade to the invoice).
  5. Process Payment: Tap the blue Pay action button. Select the payment method (e.g., Cash), then select Exact or key in the tendered cash amount (e.g., 50.00 for RM 50.00). Tap Pay RM [Amount] to pop the cash drawer and view the confirmation receipt.
