Setting up Dynamic QR Ordering

About Dynamic QR

Dynamic QR ordering allows cashiers to generate and print order-specific receipts on demand. By enabling Dynamic QR in your checkout settings, staff can print table-side QR codes directly from an active register for immediate customer scanning.

Before you begin

  • Verify that your register (tablet or mobile device) is connected to the correct, active receipt printer.
  • To print Dynamic QR codes, ensure the feature toggle is saved in your Checkout settings prior to printing.

Enable Dynamic QR Code Setting

Tablet View

  1. Access your EPOS360 account settings by pressing the More icon (four-square logo) on the bottom-left, followed by Settings.
  2. Head over to Checkout settings and ensure that the option for Enable Dynamic QR Code is enabled.
  3. Tap Save to apply the settings.

Mobile View

  1. Launch the EPOS360 app and access Settings.
  2. Open Checkout settings to enable the option to Enable Dynamic QR Code.
  3. Tap the blue Save button.

Printing Dynamic QR Codes

Tablet View

  1. Access Table Section: Access the Table section once again from the left navigation bar.
  2. Open Table Actions: On your table layout display monitor page, tap the Actions menu shortcut icon located at the upper-middle area of the screen.
  3. Select Printer & Print: Select the correct printer and proceed to print out the Dynamic QR to allow the customer to perform online ordering using their phone

Mobile View

  1. Select Target Table Tile: Access your Sell tab, then press and hold the specific Table Number that you wish to print the Dynamic QR ordering code for.
  2. Select Print Dynamic QR: Press the Print Dynamic QR option from the pop-up selection menu.
  3. Select Printer & Print: Select the correct printer to print the QR code out and provide it to the customer. The customer can straight away scan the QR to perform online ordering for their specific table.
